My Understanding
My understanding of this software is to effectively track and save data which can then be customised to the users needs:

For example: "a manager might find via segments that tablet users are the highest converting customers, something which might build the case for an app or an optimised version of the site to cater for these users."

I can target different regions such as the US, South America, Europe, or even a region in a country, such as South East England. I can look at the traffic and user trends to provide relevant content.
